Futures trading contains substantial risk and is not for every investor. You can lose some or all of your capital. Past performance is not indicative of future results. This is not financial advice.

What you get — and what you do not

This site distributes software. It does not sell trading outcomes.

This is

  • A personal, non-transferable license for a NinjaTrader strategy and a TradingView script
  • Configurable risk, session, filter, and target inputs that you choose
  • Optional daily loss and drawdown inputs you can set yourself
  • Install help in Discord
  • A free browser trading journal

This is not

  • Investment, trading, or financial advice
  • A signal service, copy-trading desk, or managed account
  • A prop firm, a funded-account pass, or a challenge product
  • A promise of profit, income, or “hands-off” easy money
  • A paid checkout — the software is free

What the software can do

These are analysis and execution tools. They do not represent profitability. Results vary. Losses can occur.

Risk inputs you set

Daily loss limits and stop placement fields so the strategy follows limits you type in — not a recommended size.

Fair value gap detection

Size and session filters to mark gaps on the chart you attach the strategy to.

Liquidity pool markers

Calculated levels that update with the data on the chart.

Time windows

Optional avoidance periods so the strategy can stay flat outside sessions you allow.

Directional filters

Optional EMA and orderflow filters. None of them is a prediction of the next move.

Target and runner inputs

Configurable exit levels. A target input is not a profit forecast.

Chart markers and alerts

On-chart drawings for gaps, liquidity, and strategy events, plus optional alerts.

All features are tools for analysis and order placement on a platform you already use. Hypothetical performance results have limitations — see the full disclosure.

Blank or preset inputs are starting points, not advice. Size, stops, and daily limits are your decisions.

Portrait of Jelle, developer of MW Futures Liquidity Scalper

Who builds it

Jelle writes the NinjaScript and the TradingView script, and answers install questions in Discord. That is software support, not trade advice.

“The MW Futures Liquidity Scalper has assisted my trading approach for several months. Jelle provides support through coaching and community. The tool offers settings that may suit different styles, though trading challenges persist.”

Frequently asked questions

Getting started

What is the MW Futures Liquidity Scalper?

A NinjaTrader strategy and a TradingView script that mark ICT-style models and, on NinjaTrader, can place orders when conditions you configured are true. Trading involves risk. You can lose money.

Is it really free?

Yes. Both versions are free. There is no paid checkout on this site. Optional donations do not unlock anything. Licenses you already paid for stay valid.

How do I get the NinjaTrader add-on?

Join the Discord, then follow the #ninjatrader channel for the zip. Do not unzip it before importing in NinjaTrader (Tools → Import → NinjaScript Add-on). Send your machine ID to @MW_Futures so a license can be issued.

What timezone should I use in NinjaTrader?

Required for the time models: set NinjaTrader to UTC-05:00 Eastern Time (US & Canada). Tools → Options → General → Time Zone → (GMT-05:00) Eastern Time (US & Canada).

On what timeframe should I run the strategy?

The liquidity scalper is built for a 1-minute chart. That may change in a later version.

What instruments does it work with?

It can be attached to futures charts NinjaTrader supports. It was designed around NQ, MNQ, ES, and MES. That is a design note, not a claim those markets are profitable with it.

Does it work on sim and live accounts?

It can run on simulation and live NinjaTrader accounts. Live trading can lose real money.

What are the best settings?

There are no best settings and no recommended “set and forget” model. Preset templates are examples of input combinations. Select None and build your own, or load a preset and change it. You are responsible for risk.

How do I use the preset templates?

Load a preset from the dropdown in settings. Re-open settings to see the values that template wrote. Select None to start from a blank slate.

Risk limits and other account types

Can I use it on an account that has daily loss or trailing-drawdown rules?

The strategy has optional inputs for daily loss and trailing drawdown, including a live-drawdown read from NinjaTrader when you enable that field. Those inputs do not make the software a funded-account product, do not pass evaluations, and do not change the fact that you can lose money. Prop-firm or broker rules are theirs, not ours.

Where is the live-drawdown input?

Under Misc, enable the live-drawdown option if you want NinjaTrader’s reported drawdown instead of a static capital figure. Set daily loss, trailing drawdown, and related limits yourself. Defaults are not advice.

Running the strategy

Can I run it on multiple charts or instruments at once?

The strategy is written to be thread-safe and multi-instance safe. Combined risk across charts is still yours to manage.

Does it work during overnight / Globex sessions?

You can disable the session-close helper under Misc if you want overnight sessions. If you want exits one minute before session end, disable NinjaTrader’s default “Exit on session close” and enable the custom helper under Misc.

Can I manually trade the same account while it is running?

Do not manually trade the same instrument and account while the strategy is enabled. If you need to intervene, disable the strategy first and cancel its working orders.

Does it work with all brokers?

It is written for NinjaTrader. Compatibility follows whatever NinjaTrader supports for that broker connection.

Troubleshooting

Orders are not placed when I expected them

Enable Debug Mode under Misc. Debug prints go to the NinjaTrader output window. Search for the timestamp. If it still looks wrong, ask in #ninjatrader_help and tag @MW_Futures.

The strategy will not load or shows errors

Ask in the #ninjatrader_help Discord channel and tag @MW_Futures.

Support

Is this for beginners?

Discord can help with install and inputs. Futures trading still requires risk capital you can afford to lose and an understanding of those risks. The software does not make that easier in the market.

How do I get updates?

New builds are posted in the #ninjatrader Discord channel.

I used to pay. How do I cancel an old subscription?

New licenses are not sold. If an old Stripe subscription is still open, cancel it in the existing-customer portal. Your license stays valid.

Do you offer refunds?

There is nothing to refund for a new license — it is free. Optional donations are voluntary and not a purchase of software. Old paid licenses remain valid; use the customer portal for historical invoices.

What should I know about trading risk?

Futures can lose more than your deposit depending on the product and margin. Only use money you can afford to lose. Read the full disclosures.
